How I Work

Before beginning an evaluation, I take a comprehensive personal history, which is critical to making a diagnosis.
I then administer several batteries of psychological and educational tests, including an ADHD evaluation, over two or more sessions.
I can conduct assessments bilingually, in Hebrew and English, using Israeli and English testing batteries.
I employ and have extensive experience with various assessment tools, including the TOVA CPT Test for ADHD, WAIS-3 (Hebrew and English), WISC-IV, WPPSI III, and other intelligence tests; and the Woodcock-Johnson III, WIAT II, Nelson-Denny, and other educational and psychoeducational batteries. I also use various neuropsychological instruments—including the NEPSY, Stroop Color-Word Test, Trailmaking, Wisconsin Card-Sorting, the PASAT and others—and personality tests.
I then write a comprehensive report, providing the results of the testing, the diagnosis, and specific actionable recommendations for educational planning, treatment planning, and, where relevant, testing accommodations.
The patient and I have a final meeting to discuss the test results and, where indicated, make referrals for further evaluation or treatment by medical, mental-health and/or other professionals.
Where necessary, I will make a school visit to consult with teachers and administrators.
Where necessary, I will correspond with ETS, Pearson-Vue and other testing boards to clarify test results and provide further information.
For those seeking testing accommodations, I will assist with the paperwork.
A report generated for one of the testing boards will also be accepted at universities abroad to apply for the accommodations.
